This work presents the development of a decision-making strategy for fulfilling power and heat demands small residential neighborhoods. The decision on optimal operation microgrid is based model predictive control (MPC) rolling horizon. In design microgrid, new approach different technologies, such as photovoltaic (PV) arrays, micro-combined (micro-CHP) units, conventional boilers electricity storage tanks are considered.
